- Krishan Kumar is an Indian actor and film producer, who mainly works in the Hindi film industry. He hogged the limelight after playing the role of Sundar Sehgal in the Hindi-language musical thriller film Bewafa Sanam (1995). He is the younger brother of the Indian music baron Gulshan Kumar.
- Krishan’s family traces its origins to the Jhang province of West Punjab. Following the anti-Hindu riots during the partition of India in 1947, his parents migrated to Delhi as refugees.
- Krishan Kumar grew up in a middle-class family in Delhi.
- Krishan began his career as an actor with the 1993 Hindi-language romantic thriller film Aaja Meri Jaan. He played the role of Chand Kapoor in the film. The film did not perform well at the box office.
- He then appeared in the Hindi films Kasam Teri Kasam (1993) and Shabnam (1993), which again failed to entertain the audience.
