- Rajat Sain is an Indian documentarian, filmmaker, and journalist who has made many short films and documentaries. He went viral after he married Saloni Gaur, a renowned impressionist and standup comedian.
- His father wanted him to become an engineer and got him enrolled in the non-medical stream with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry subjects in 11th and 12th standards. He also received tuition at Crescendo Institute, Sector-46, Chandigarh for engineering entrance examinations; however, he wanted to become a filmmaker.

- In February 2011, he started his journalistic journey by working as a campus reporter at Panjab University for the noted newspaper Dainik Bhaskar till March 2013. He worked as a special programmer for the Chandigarh office of ABP Network from July 2013 to September 2014. He worked as a production specialist at Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), New Delhi from October 2014 to December 2015.

- Rajat Sain has been interested in photography and filmmaking since his teenage years and actively started making short films and documentaries during his first year of college. Most of his films are based on topics that are not reported in mainstream media.
