- He started his kabaddi training with Alanthankarai, recognized as one of the strongest teams in Kanyakumari district. Before that, he received coaching from Coach Ravi at the academy where he was training. He represented Alanthankarai Academy in domestic and district-level Kabaddi tournaments.
