- Aakarshi Kashyap is an Indian badminton player, who won a gold medal at the South Asian Games 2019 held in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.
- When she was 8 years old, she started playing badminton in her school. After seeing her interest in the game, her father decided to start her professional training in badminton.

- In 2009, she started training in the game under her coach Sanjay Mishra at Ravi Shankar Stadium, Durg.
- On 24 August 2014, she won her first badminton match at the All India Ranking Tournament at Sivakasi.
- In 2016, she joined Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in Bengaluru. In the same year, Aakarshi won twin crowns in U-17 and U-19 girl’s singles in the 25th Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament.
