Basu started his career in 2018 with a film Khajoor Pe Atke and later appeared in Kedarnath as Gullu. In 2019, he worked as a supporting actor in Amazon Primes web series Laakhon Mein Ek. The following year, he was seen as Kali in MX Player web series Madhuri Talkies starring Sagar Wahi and Aishwarya Sharma. Basu was appeared in two seasons of MX player’s popular web series Raktanchal as Chhunnu.
