During the shoot of the Hindi TV show Kaala Teeka, on 1 July 2016, Bhupinder asked for a makeup item from the production team which was not available as the shops were closed. He got angry and started abusing and fighting with the production team and also slapped Rajendra Upadhyay, the 55-year-old production head, following which he was banned from shooting for 3 months. Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) revoked his ban after he apologized to Upadhyay. Bhupinder later said that things which were reported did not happen, and he did not slap anyone during the incident. Shooting a man dead [6]Amar Ujala [7]Hindustan Times Bhupinder Singh wanted to cut an Eucalyptus tree on the border of his farm in Kuan Khera village in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh and got into a fight with the owner of the neighbouring farm, Gurdeep Singh, on 3 December 2023 about the ownership of the tree. The fight intensified and Bhupinder fired shots from his gun at Gurdeep, his daughter, Sukhvinder Kaur , and his sons, 25-year-old Amreek and 23-year-old Govind. Amreek and Gurdeep got injured while Govind died to the gun wound. An FIR was lodged against Bhupinder and his three aides named Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh and Gurjat Singh at Badhapur Police Station in Bijnor by Jeet Singh, brother of Gurdeep Singh. They were later arrested and jailed at the police stattion. Reportedly, the revolver, which Bhupinder used, was registered in his name in Kalagarh, Uttarakhand. |

- Bhupinder Singh is an Indian actor, writer, producer, director, model, and entrepreneur who has acted in many films and TV serials in different languages. He made headlines after murdering a man over a dispute at his farm in December 2023.
- During his childhood, he and his family moved to Kalagarh, Uttarakhand from Kuan Khera, Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, India due to a flood after which he started living at house number A-54 of New Colony in Kalagarh.
- His debut Punjabi film (Pollywood) Laal Chooda featured Rajesh Puri and Tej Sapru in the main roles. He worked in a few Punjabi films such as Maujaan Dubai Diyaan in 1985 as Bhupinder Singh. After completing his formal education, he moved to Mumbai in 1990.
