Chetna Meera (also known as Chetna Kaintura) is an Indian television actress and model. She is popular for playing role of Jeenat in long-run television show Jodha Akbar. Chetna has also worked in Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi, Laut Aao Trisha and Hathi Ghoda Palki Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki. She is originally from Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
Biography
Chetna Kaintura was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand to a Hindu family. Her mother Meera Kaintura is a District Disaster Management officer at Haridwar. She was always passionate about acting since childhood. After post-graduation from Delhi, she moved to Mumbai to try her luck in acting field. Her first acting role was for Bindass TV and was seen in a supporting role in a TV show Love by Chance. She later worked in several episodes of Savdhan India.
Chetna rose to fame by playing important role of Jeenat in Zee TV’s historical drama serial Jodha Akbar. She subsequently appeared in Khushiyon ki Gullak, Laut Aao Trisha, Kaisi Hai Jawani season 2, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki and Hathi Ghoda Palki Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki.
