In an interview, he mentioned about visiting the St. Jude Church in Angamaly, Kerala. | Controversies | Altercation with Mayor: In April 2017, Joseph faced legal trouble when he was arrested following a complaint lodged by Mayor Soumini Jain. The Mayor, in the complaint, alleged that Joseph had verbally abused her after she denied permission for a film shoot at Subhash Bose Park in Kochi, Kerala. Joseph, however, was later granted bail. Controversial Comment Amid ‘Kasaba Misogyny Row’: Joseph was criticised for making a controversial comment on social media during the ‘Kasaba Misogyny Row’ in December 2017. The controversy began when actress Parvathy Thiruvothu criticized the portrayal of women in films during the International Film Festival of Kerala earlier that year; she used the film ‘Kasaba’ as an example to explain her perspective at the event. - During his time at L. B. S. College of Engineering in Kerala, Jude was in a relationship that ended when the girl left him.
