Litton Kumer Das was born on Wednesday, 16 February 1994 (age 28 years; as of 2022) in Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His zodiac sign is Aquarius. He studied in Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP). He studied at American International University, Bangladesh. He used to play with a tennis ball in his hometown. His elder brother took him to the coach Abu Samad Mithu and he started training under him.

Domestic Career
He started playing for the Rajshahi division in the Under-13 team in 2006. He played for Rangpur Division in First Class cricket in 2011. In the 2012-2013 season, he scored a century and a half-century. In the 2014 Under-19 World Cup, he scored 239 runs in 4 matches. He also played for Under-15 and Under-23 teams. In the 2016-2017 season, he scored 752 runs in 14 matches, the most runs in that season.

In the 2019 Caribbean Premier League, he played for Jamaica Tallawahs. He played from Karachi Kings in the rescheduled matches of the 2021 Pakistan Super League. He was signed by Comilla Victorians for the 9th BPL season.

Injury
In November 2019, he suffered a concussion in a test match against India held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India. He was hit on the head by a bouncer bowled by Mohammad Shami of India. He batted for a few minutes and left the field after complaining of discomfort. In August 2022, he suffered a hamstring injury in the series against Zimbabwe. After the MRI scan, it was found to be a two-grade muscle strain. He recovered in 3-4 weeks.

Death Threats after posting Hindu Goddess Devi Durga’s photo
In September 2022, Litton Das posted a photo of the Hindu Goddess Durga on his social media and wished his fans on the occasion of Mahalaya. He received death threats from many people on his post.
Exchange of words with Sri Lankan player Lahiru Kumara
During the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup, in a match against Sri Lanka, Lahiru Kumara of Sri Lanka dismissed Liton and walked towards him, hurling some abuses. Litton reacted by hurling some abuses back at him. They were separated by their fellow players and umpires. Liton was fined 15% of his match fee along with 1 demerit point for breaching Article 2.20 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “conduct that is contrary to the spirit of the game’.
