They posed as press reporters and killed the mafia brothers when they were going to the MLN Medical College in Prayagraj for their medical checkup. More than 30 rounds were fired and police nabbed the trio on the spot. They chanted Jai Sri Ram slogans while police arrested them, and it was reported later that Lovelesh also sustained a bullet injury in his hand. A case was filed against them under sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC. They said during the interrogation that they wanted to make name for themselves in UP by killing the brothers. |
