- In 2011, he came into the limelight when his wedding faced two delays. The first was in mid-May due to the US operation against Osama Bin Laden, which drew international attention in Pakistan. After the Osama operation, the second delay happened when international pressure increased, leading Dawood Ibrahim to postpone the wedding for some period.
