- In 2005, she joined Delhi Public School, RK Puram as a cricket coach. She pursued a cricket course after which she was recruited as a physical education teacher.

- In an interview, the principal of Pinki’s school said that Pinki was very confident before representing India at the Commonwealth Games 2022. She talked about her and said,
I had met her before she travelled (to Birmingham) and she was full of confidence. Before leaving, she told me ‘Iss baar toh kuchh lekar aaungi (I won’t come back empty-handed this time).”
