- Sonal Jha is an Indian actress who is known for various television shows and films. She is best known for her roles in films such as Lipstick Under My Burkha, 3 Storeys, and Chillar Party and TV Serials such as Na Aana Is Des Laado and Balika Vadhu.
- She has been involved in theatre since her childhood. At 11, she started theatre with Patna Indian People’s Theatre Association.
- When she was 15 years old, she performed as an actress and singer in Patna.
- She later moved to Delhi to pursue her postgraduate education. When she was pursuing her post-graduation in Delhi, she faced a lot of problems adjusting there because she had studied in Hindi medium till graduation and in Delhi, she was to study in English medium. Apart from the language barrier, she even went through a lot of cultural differences. She used to call her father and tell him that she would not be able to complete her studies, but her father motivated her a lot.
