Career
Sachdev started playing chess at an early age. Her mother introduced Chess to her when she was just 6 years old and soon it grabbed her interest. After seeing her interest in this game, her parents encouraged her to learn and play more. At the age of 8 years, she won the first international title. She got her training done by Coach K.C. Joshi. She was in under12 of Indian Champion and under14 in Asian Girls Champion 2000.
She entered the Women’s Chess Olympiads in 2008. In 2009 and 2011, she participated in the Women’s World Team Chess Championship. Since 2003, she has been taking part in the Women’s Asian Chess Championship. She was also a contender in the 2006 Asian Games and 2009 Asian Indoor Games.
