Bigg Boss Non-Stop, the debut OTT edition of the popular reality TV series, has crowned actress Bindu Madhavi as the winner in an eventful finale on Sunday. She became the first-ever female winner of the series in Telugu.
Bindu received the coveted trophy and cheque of Rs. 50 lakhs. While Akhil Sarthak remained as the runner-up of the OTT season as well, Shiva stood in the third spot.
Ariyana Glory has chosen to quit the race to be the winner by accepting the offer of Rs. 10 lakhs, Shiva was awarded a pass to the upcoming Bigg Boss Telugu season 6 which will premiere in a few months.
Bindu Madhavi entered Bigg Boss Non-Stop as a ‘Challenger’ contestant. She took part in Bigg Boss Tamil season 1 in the past as a wild card contestant and stood as the fourth runner-up. She was the first-ever wild card entry in the history of BB Tamil as well.
However, she returned to Telugu showbiz with BB Non-Stop. From her tiff with Nataraj over food in the very first week to a stiff contest with Akhil Sarthak, Bindu had an eventful journey in the BB house. Her clarity of thought, articulation, logic, and mental strength were widely admired while a few contestants including Nataraj complained about her reasons and logic of nomination. A section of netizens opined that her performance in the task lacks merit.
While she calls Shiva her ‘biggest strength’ in the BB house, she had some major fights with Nataraj, Akhil Sarthak, and her BFF Shiva as well. Nataraj called her ‘Shoorpanakha’ while fans fondly referred to her as ‘Aada Puli (Tigress)’. Bindu failed to become the captain in the season and there were moments when she got emotional due to the mistrust of Shiva and comments over her game play.
Notably, Bindu enjoyed a huge fan base on social media who supported her throughout the season.
In the last episode of the season, Bindu said she treats her BB journey as her biggest guru in life. She thanked Bigg Boss for showing her strength in her weaknesses and apologised for her mistakes.
