Yamuna Expressway Accident: 7 killed, 2 injured in road accident on Yamuna Expressway in Mathura | Agra News

AGRA: At least seven members of a family, including a 6-year-old child and three women, were killed and two others sustained injuries after the car they were travelling in was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Yamuna Expressway near milestone 68 in Mathura’s Naujheel area on Saturday morning. They were heading towards Noida from Hardoi.
The family members were identified as Lalu Kumar, his wife Chutki, his three sons — Rajesh, Gopal and Sanjay, daughters-in-law and their two children. They belong to Sandila in Hardoi.
The accident took place around 4am when the wagon-R with registration number UP-16 DB 9872 was hit by some unidentified vehicle while they were heading towards Noida after attending a weddding.
SP (rural) Shireesh Chandra said seven people including three men, three women and a child were killed on spot while one man and a child sustained injuries and are admitted to a hospital for treatment. Police have informed their counterparts about accident. Further investigations are on.
