‘KGF: Chapter 2’ box office collection day 8: Will the Hindi film beat ‘Dangal’s’ record of Rs. 374 crores? | Kannada Movie News

The beginning of the second week for ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ (Hindi) saw a small dip in the collections but the film has managed to still hold its ground. Having ended week #1 at the record-breaking figure of Rs. 250.50 crores (nett), the Hindi dubbed version of ‘KGF 2’ has reportedly earned Rs. 13 crores on Thursday to take the nett total to Rs. 263.75 crores.

As reported by Box Office India, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ can be expected to cross the Rs. 300 crore barrier by end of the second weekend. The lifetime figures of the Hindi film will depend on the second week performance as films like ‘RRR’ (Hindi) too saw a spike in their second-week run. ‘KGF 2’s lifetime numbers are to go beyond Rs. 350 crores going by the current trend but will the film beat the record set by the Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’ in the Hindi belt?

‘Dangal’, as stated by Box Office India’, earned close to Rs. 374 crores in its lifetime run and it would be interesting to see how ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ fares in the coming days. The film, however, has a long list of records to its name already and became the first Hindi film to cross the Rs. 250 crore within the first week of its release, beating ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’ in the process.

Produced by Hombale Films and written and directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Achyuth Kumar, and many others.
